“But as his part is, who goes down to the battle, so shall his part be who stays by the supplies, they shall share alike. And so it was from that day forward, he made it a statue and an ordinance for Israel to this day.”

This simply means that we all share in the benefits and reward of those who fight on the front line as we put our shoulder behind the wheel and support the victory with our prayers and financial support.
